Welcome to SpeedeeArticles!

SpeedeeArticles is a new(ish) service, based off of TxTi and various other sites. As you can guess, it's intent is to go fast! Similar to how this car (and its link) are: inline Blue Falcon

All you need to do is submit a Jade (or alternatively MD/MarkDown file) and I can turn it into a full page in minutes. alternatively, you can do it yourself; take a look in here for more.

It's similar to various existing sites, including FuckYeahMarkdown/HeckYesMarkdown, TxTi and NoteHub.org, but with a few key differences:

  1. The content is guarenteed mobile-friendly, and all images (should really) be minified to reduce bandwidth.
  2. The page is much more widely usable, with a drop down menu (∵) to switch to light, dark and black themes (which are easily modified on both host and user), as well as a button that just removes the articles default width limit.
  3. There are minimal (or preferably no) scripts and/or trackers, similar to TxTi.
  4. Each piece of content can be linked to, regardless of whether it's a title or an image. Or at least it's preferred that way (since it can remove theme continuity).
  5. There's a healthy dab of CSS in every page (for theme switching and article setup), but it is still (mostly) functional without it. You can see how it looks wihout it if you want, just remove #theCSS using DevTools!
  6. Images with alt tags ending with specific characters (tbg, wbg, dbg or bbg) have their backgrounds changed to that colour.
Examples: block Image testing tbgblock Image testing wbgblock Image testing dbgblock Image testing bbg
  7. You are able to embed certain objects (eg: YouTube videos) when submitting/creating in Jade form.

Of course, as with all good things there are some downsides:

Well, anyway; here's some examples (with sources of course):
